Phase shifting

As an engineer, I always tend to use technical terms in my daily life, and ‘phase shifting’ is one of them.

Phase in waves is the fraction of a cycle which has elapsed relative to an arbitrary point. So the phase shift is any change that occurs in the phase difference between two or more quantities. Refer to the illustration for a better

 Now, I shall stop bragging with the technical terms, and start explaining how it’s applicable in our life. Have you every fought for something so bad for a long time, and suddenly felt like it doesn’t worth anymore? Or had a sudden 180 degree orientation inversion? Well, that’s how you get phase shifted. You slow down or stop and stray on your own way and the difference get widen by time.

Life is full of logic, but we are de facto instinctually biased and spend most of our life resisting this fact, it’s our human nature which neglects the gravity law and leads us to oppose all dilemmas caused by this choice. Only few of us, will realize those phase-shifting points during their journey and seize them. Some of them could massively change your life in plus or minus ways, and the others spare you the suffer as they work as conclusions shortcuts where you have to choose between the blue or the red pill.

Bahrain Alone!

I always hate this blend of feelings which I have while driving back home. Hearing my watch ticking in this great silence which she has left. Seeing everything still, colorless and dull. Hours feel like days, marking the calendar at the end of each day like having an achievement done. That severe loneliness which isolates me from the rest of the world, and makes me thinking more about her.

This is how homesick feels like away from her.

How to enable Personal Hotspot on iPhone?

Are you fed-up from begging for a internet vouchers in coffee shops? while you have a gigabytes data package on your phone? Well, if you are using an iphone with a data package, you can easily tether them to your laptop, but you need to setup your personal hotspot first.

 

Tethering ‘HotSpot’ got officially enabled on iOS 4.3 and later versions. And you can easily set it up with the following steps.

 

1- Enter your ISP APN in the ‘Internet Tethering’ section. I don’t thing that you have to enter a UserName and Password.

Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data > Internet Tethering

2- You’ll notice ‘Personal Hotspot’ is now appearing in the settings, between the Wi-Fi and Notifications tap.

3- Inside the Personal Hotspot, you’ll have the ON/OFF switch and the Wi-Fi Password, and the connection status. You can tether your internet connection via three interfaces: USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Once any devices are connected to the hotspot, you’ll notice the blue bar on the top of your screen, indicating the number of connections established.

Have we entered the POST-PC era?

Five years ago, most of online activities were mainly done from PCs. So you have to be at home, or using a laptop whenever you need to send or read an email, shop online or IM your relatives and friends.

In 2007, Apple has introduced itself to the mobile market with it’s most popular product, the iPhone! Followed with the online Appstore in 2008, mobile applications started to evolve and cover every aspect of our daily life. This has inspired Google to come up with the Android OS. Later in 2010, Apple has led the market again and introduced it’s first tablet Computer, the iPad. Which kept other competitors on their toes to release equivalent products.

Thanks to the rapid advancing mobile technology, users are now connected 24/7 where ever they are. So now you can surf your favorite websites, get instant news updates, send&receive emails, IM your friends and watch live video broadcasts on the fly!

In Bahrain, I think that we are almost there – waiting for our national TRA to confirm this. Smartphones packages are affordable and available on the three mobile networks and with high-speed connections and reasonable thresholds.
